Coke Oven Linear Positioning System

With the magnetic sensing capabilities of the Magnaposi, C&S has discovered a way to finely position coke cars: the SPIL CT. With inexpensive steel tags, a magnetic reading head, and Symeo door position verification, the SPIL CT allows you to automate processes such as the grabbing operation on a door machine, or the alignment on a quenching car or pusher car.

This works even as the battery changes size over the seasons, accounting for misalignments that a human operator would otherwise detect.
